Euro Style Oval Acronym Stickers

The popularity of euro style oval stickers has sparked the interest of businesses across the USA. These compact stickers are now available for U.S. states, cities, municipalities, and other locations.

Oval stickers originated in Europe where they were used to identify a vehicle’s home country. Eventually, euro style stickers found their way back to America and the idea took off.

One of the first designs to gain popularity in the USA was the OBX sticker, a reference to the Outer Banks area of North Carolina. What began as a local trend spread quickly, and soon stickers were available for American cities, states, and regions.

Many early Euro style oval stickers followed the standard layout: large letters surrounded by subtitles in smaller fonts on a white background with a black border. This layout remains popular, although an array of variations are seen.
